Hi Beloved,
As I meditated on what to share this week, I wanted so badly to have emails planned out till the end of the year, then I remembered the Lords prayers, “give us this day our DAILY bread” not weekly bread so we can have for the whole week or monthly bread so we can have for the whole month, but daily bread, which means we get to have our needs met daily. One day at a time. So as I let the thought of having all the emails till the years end go…later that day I received this email and what I would share with you from the Holy Spirit. I would share how I received it but it would be so long, I’d have to make it into a blog post lol. Isn’t God wonderful? And doesn’t he work in mysterious ways? Yes he does indeed.
My intention was always to share authentically with you, not flood your inbox with marketing emails about buying jewelry(even though we have fire jewelry available now, and more coming soon 😉). But, I wanted to be honest with who we are as a brand and what we aim to achieve. And that is to reveal to you the true God of the universe(insert emperor of the universe, by Dunsin x Theophilus here lol) Jesus Christ.
How that would help me sell my jewelry is a mystery to me, but I will only follow the leading of the Lord. Because I am not trying to get your money but to truly influence a change of heart towards God and to call you to express yourself from a decision that has been made within you.
For NIA Luxe changing lives is primary.
And though making money is good for business, I would also stand on the word of God whether that helps me make money or not. And I’d love to ask if you put money first before God? Would you rather keep your opinions to yourself because you don’t want to lose money? Would you be quiet because you didn’t want to be controversial? Even though it’s sad that the things of God is controversial because it’s the truth.
Nevertheless isn’t it better to lose the world including money and choose God, than to gain the whole world and lose your life? I worded it this way because, we don’t lose God, for God cannot be lost, for the only thing to lose here is our life! OUR LIFE. And we need to Give our lives to God because only in Him are we secure not in money, only in him are we free, not in money and only in Him are we satisfied not in money.
No amount of money would make us happy, joyful and loved. And tbh money doesn’t make us unhappy either, it’s a means to which God can use to help us, help us help others, enable us to reach cities and nations and influencing the world.
But we cannot afford to let money control us. Money is a tool not the master, but God is… the Master. And how we act in our waking lives proves what fruit we are bearing!
I pray that this message encourages you to know that we cannot serve God and money, for we would choose one over the other when situations present itself. So we need to make a decision. Who do we want to serve. God or money?
"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.
You cannot serve God and money”
